Brown University

Laura Zam has been teaching for over 20 years. She has worked with K-12 youth and their educators, developmentally-disabled adults, the elderly, urban teens, learning-disabled college students, artists, creative individuals of all stripes, and communities in conflict. She has a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Brown University.  Laura is formerly the Director of Education at Arena Stage in Washington, DC, one of the largest and most prestigious regional theaters in the country.  She is currently affiliated with George Mason University, specializing in arts integration, resiliency work, and conflict resolution using drama. Additionally, Laura is a graduate of the Maryland Teaching Artist Institute and is a certified yoga instructor. She has taught at many universities, including UC Berkeley, The University of the South, and  Brown University
