Written and performed by Tanya Bogoslovsky, Julie Hantman, Jennifer Howe, Molly Kelly, and Deirdre Schwiesow, Not Your Granny’s Revolution featured six original monologues—both fictional and autobiographical. Together, these stories represented a single journey that was mythical and revolutionary but in a completely contemporary way. In essence the play asked: How can women—and men—move beyond a worldview where they feel victimized by life?
The play was directed by Jessica Lefkow who has worked extensively around the world—gathering much critical acclaim. Most recently she directed Honey Brown Eyes at Theater J, winner of The Charles MacArthur Award for Outstanding New Play.
