Had my show at the National Theatre in Washington, DC last night. Really fun show -- especially thanks to the Washington Post for picking it up in the Style section: full houses for both the 6:00 and 7:30 shows. Thank you all for showing up!
Performed STUPID FRAILTY looking directly at Helen Hayes: a large poster of her adorns the gallery that bears her name -- this was my performance space.
Oh, Grande Dame of the theatre, grant me more audiences like the lovely one last night!
I don’t actually believe that the dead can grant anyone wishes, but I also didn’t believe that people would no longer be able to smoke in bars. Fact has been known to make a believer of many skeptics.
Let’s hope my firmest believe -- that the U.S. would not dare go to war with Iran -- does not become fact. In this, and this alone, I prefer to remain a skeptic.
